All at once

Un bel weekend quello appena trascorso. Tra le altre cose ho preso in mano il carpino(?) vinto quest'anno alla cena sociale. Ho fatto tutti i lavori in un colpo solo. Lascerò poi libera la pianta di riprendersi.
Eccola come si presenta ora.
Le radici non erano moltissime ma molto lunghe. Le ho accorciate e ho messo del substrato fresco.
Ho potato alcuni rami (certi erano anche secchi) per dare alla pianta un aspetto nuovo.
La scelta del disegno è stata fatta in base alle caratteristiche della pianta, e pur se non rientra in nessun canone ufficiale la trovo credibile. Ho filato anche qualche ramo per metterli nella giusta posizione.

A nice working weekend has just passed. I did a good job (I hope) on the carpinus that I've won at the christmas party. 
Roots were pretty lame and I pruned'em, same work on the branchese (some of them were dry).
I also applyed some wiring to give a structure to the branches.
Here how it looks. It's not a classical bonsai style but I have try to exploit the plant caratheristics.
