Bonsai quando posso

Idee, Bonsai e Prebonsai

Sunday brimful of Bonsai (Bonsai sotto la mole Pt.1)

Here I am to tell you about a wonderfull sunday in the bonsai world. As said previously me and Matteo head to Turin this sunday to visit the "Bonsai sotto la mole" which host the XVIII gahtering of the Italina bonsai union.
The event consisted in an exposition of some of the best italian bonsai and suiseki, a meeting and convention area and a bonsai and suiseki market.
Just arrived we visited the market to spot some good trees and both me and Teo actually found something interesting, the were both prebonsai and almost complete trees, some good mame and some company grasses. Besides there were some good pot sellers (i should have buy a cople of pots, the price were really interesting) in addiction of ones who sells all kind of tools.
Due to my lack of space, time and experience i've avoid important purcheses and i've focus on finding something for my made to be forest.
In that i was very lucky and for a modest price i've found a group of betula utilis (a birch species that come from Himalaya) i don't have a picture but i will show you soon. I really find hard to find birch so i was quite satisfied.
I can use the trees for my forest and since they are ten I can easily keep some of them for maybe something else.
Teo instead found a prebonsai of Pseudocydonia with a good movement in the lower part of the trunk, the price was really affordable so he take his chance on it.
All the higher part should be removed but i think he made a good purchese.
In the afternoon we visit the exposition, I all take as much pictures as i can but due to the crowd i cannot shoot every bonsai exposed.
I will post the pictures and our impression in future posts in a way to not congest the blog.
Here you find some of the market trees and stalls

NB.
