Bonsai quando posso

Idee, Bonsai e Prebonsai

Here they comes

We spent a great Saturday afternoon yesterday with the Bonsai Do Groane guy at Guido's house,
hosted in his beautyfull garden we worked on our bonsai (repotting, grafting). We also help Guido remove some of the plants he put on the ground to make'em grow bigger.
Now that they are ready we took them off. So Guido so kindly gave me two of these plants as a gift for the help.
One is a very large maple and the other is a very nice barked birch.
The maple was a three-four meter high tree which Guido cured for a couple of years and then let go freely.  So now I have a very large base all to be styled. A really challenging project.
The birch is about 60cm high (about 23 inches) and was styled some years ago by Guido himself. Now it will need a new cut back but for this year I won't touch it and leave it free to adjust.
That's all for now.
