Domenica produttiva quella di appena trascorsa: innanzitutto ho rinvasato la Robinia.
Lavoro molto veloce in quanto il substrato era molto sciolto.
Ho rimosso praticamente solo la radice fittonante la quale aveva sviluppato un pane radicale che riempiva tutto il vaso. Con le radici superficiali si dovrebbe sviluppare un buon nebari. Ho potato i rami lunghi posteriori per favorire lo sviluppo di quelli necessari. Ho riutilizzato il vecchio terriccio che mi sembrava molto ricco e adatto alla pianta. Presto o tardi dovrò anche lavorare sulla legna secca passando uno strato di liquido jin.

Dopo aver constatato che il contenimento in keto del larice dava problemi di resistenza ho deciso di rafforzarlo.
L'ho legato con del filo e puntellato in più zone per poi aggiungere una dose generosa di keto mischiata a molto sfagno; ciò dovrebbe garantire una maggiore umidità e una struttura più legata.
Le piogge in arrivo diranno molto sulla tenuta del contenimento.
Ho curato poi le potature delle piantine più piccole e ho iniziato un grosso lavoro che si meriterà un post a parte.


Did a few works yesterday. First I repot the black locust. Easy job since the substrate was really loose. I removed only the taproot, but it was enough to remove more than the fifty percent of the roots. Superficial roots will create a nice nebari I think. Then I cut the longer and useless branches.
I used the same rich substrate that was in the large pot. Sooner or later I will have to protect dry wood with some jin liquid

I put my eye on the larch slab. The keto was so dry and it wasn't containing well. So I placed a couple of wires with some staples to keep it position and then reinforced it with a sphagnum-keto mix; it should assure humidity and resistance. Next few days will be rainy so I will understand if this works.
Then I pruned some of the littlest, and then I begin a huge work. But there will be posts about it.
