Nelle foto di questo post si notano alcune che ritraggono una vecchia fornace.

Il terreno delle Groane è argilloso e dall'800 sull'area sono nate molte fornaci che fabbricavano mattoni sfruttando la materia prima presente.

Alcune ben conservate sono state riconvertite mentre in altri casi, come questo, le strutture fatiscenti sono quasi state riassorbite dalla vegetazione.

I paletti in cemento armato sparsi nel bosco servivano da pali di sostegno per le tettoie sotto cui si lasciavano i mattoni ad essicare.

Groane park substrate is rich with clay and since the 800th century many brick factories born over this area. 

Some of them are well preserved, in other cases, like this, the crumbling ruins are being incorporated into the forest.

The concret stakes were used as brik's drying canopy pillars.
