XXIII Mostra "Amici del Bonsai"

Oggi ho avuto la possibilità di visitare la mostra del club "Amici del Bonsai" a Castellanza.

L'esposizione, realizzata con le piante degli iscritti, era piccola ma ben curata con una trentina di piante circa.

Essendo appassionato di caducifoglie ho particolarmente apprezzato la mostra in quanto ho potuto apprezzare dei bei esemplari di Carpino, dei crataegus in fiore, una betulla con un tronco contorto molto evocativo.

Anche delle belle conifere erano presenti e insieme ad esse piante che si incontrano meno spesso come edera e kiwi rosso.

Today I took a visit to the "Amici del Bonsai" exposition in Castellanza.

The exposure, small but good in quality, was made with members' plant and counted about 30 trees.

As you may kwon I prefer broadleaves so I was positively impressed by some of the plants, I appreciated the hornbeams, the hawtorns and an old birch with a really nice trunk.

There were also some good coniferous and some more rare to see species like red kiwi or an ivy tree.
